I recently had the honour of addressing the Federal, Provincal and Territorial Ministers Responsible for Seniors and their bureaucratic counterparts on older workers. I talked about harnessing the talent, skills and experience of Older Workers. I am thrilled to see that Minister Ablonczy has sent out a press release stating there will be a focus on Older Workers in this next year. I hope that this next year brings some needed focus on helping employers see the value of what an older worker can bring to the workplace.
