About Our Courses

The Workplace Institute is pleased to bring you its educational services with over 120 courses, developed in response to our clients needs.

What are those needs? Organizations are telling us that they’re facing many challenges in today’s volatile business environment. Employees are telling us they need to know more about issues that affect both their professional and personal lives.

We have responded by providing scheduled lunch and learn seminars and hands-on workshops for both employees and management. These sessions focus on tactics and strategies to manage everyday professional and personal issues. Our team of associate consultants has expertise in health and wellness, career development, financial planning, technology and essential business skills.

Organizations that invest in their employees see greater productivity, higher morale, increased customer satisfaction, lower benefit costs, lower absenteeism and lower turnover. These are the organizations that thrive in any economy.

About the Workplace Institute Education Centre

Education and Delivery

Workplace Institute educational sessions are designed to be delivered at our Ottawa Education Centre or at your specified location. Sessions can also be customized to suit your specific workforce culture.

We employ several critical principle elements to support adult learning and many of these are evident throughout our 3,000 square feet of training space. Nineteen-inch monitors, comfortable chairs, moveable desks, and wider hallways make learning easier and more accessible. The 12-foot ceilings and natural light in every room helps create an airy, open environment conducive to a positive learning experience.  And our staff is committed to creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for participants -- from the moment they arrive to the minute they leave.

Quality and Value

The Workplace Institute’s team of associate consultants has more than 30 years of combined experience in a variety of fields. They employ proven educational strategies including presentations, exercises, discussions, and hands on workshop activities.

Human Resources Solutions

The Workplace Institute offers a range of human resources solutions designed to maximize employee effectiveness.  We provide three main categories of education services: Computer Technology Training, Employee Productivity Seminars and Essential Business Skills Strategies. We can help your organization become more strategic and become more efficient in all aspects of the business.
