Course Outline

Research has shown that emotional intelligence (EI or EQ) is a better predictor of individual success than cognitive intelligence (IQ).  Emotional Intelligence consists of the emotional, personal and social aspects of your intelligence.  It is your common sense, your people skills and your psychological well being. 

EI consists of skills that can improve through learning and experience, unlike personality traits, which tend to remain fairly constant. 
The impact of EI spreads beyond the individual, to everyone in our working environment, and has a pronounced effect on performance and relationships.

Self-awareness is the key to enhancing one’s EI. This program provides the opportunity to become self-aware, to establish a personal plan, to develop concrete action steps as a group and to evaluate their effectiveness.

  • Three or four stages, consisting of:
  • Introductory workshop (half-day)
  • One hour of personalized feedback for each participant.
  • Team strategy workshop (full day)
  • Optional - Follow-up team session(s) and/or individual coaching
