Research Hints & Tips

"Knowledge is an unending adventure at the edge of uncertainty." Jacob Bronowski

When conducting a research study, a number of recurring questions frequently arise regarding the design or administration of questionnaires, or similar survey instruments. From broad experience coupled with current scientific literature, our researchers have formulated some ideas and insights about these issues. In these Hints and Tips pages, we will offer a series of articles in an effort to guide and assist other researchers and non-researchers alike who may be struggling with the uncertainty presented by particular questions. We trust you will find our comments to be useful or, at least, thought provoking.
